Starting in July 2025, the association Dauphins de Rangiroa (DDR) will organize a series of lectures in its new premises* located at the Rangiroa Diving Center (RDC), a stone's throw from the Ohotu wharf.
These weekly one-hour lectures, entitled "Petite histoire des grands dauphins de Rangiroa", will be led by Pamela Carzon, author of a doctoral thesis on dolphin behavior and human/dolphin interactions in Rangiroa.
The first lecture will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Each lecture will welcome a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15 people.
Participation will be free for residents of Rangiroa.
A contribution of 2,000 XPF (17€) per person, fully donated to the DDR association, will be requested from non-residents. This contribution will allow the association to maintain the premises and purchase the equipment necessary for its goals of knowledge, awareness, and conservation of dolphins (educational tools, photographic equipment, etc.).
