Ten days of shooting were necessary to collect the images that will be used to produce a 26-minute report broadcast at the end of 2026 on the program 13h15, le samedi, on France 2.
The report will address the issues observed in the context of interactions between dolphins and tourism in the Tiputa area, through the perspective of various environmental and local tourism stakeholders.
As part of the shoot, we spent several hours observing the dolphins from land when they come to surf and jump in the waves of the tidal bore of Hiria pass, or Tiputa pass, and carried out about ten dives during which we had the chance to cross paths with the 20 dolphins that currently make up the 'Tiputa community'.
